The recent release of RAZR M and RAZR HD have brought up hope for many Moto-fans. Also Motorola just confirmed to Pocket-lint that the RAZR M will boast an Intel chip when it hits the UK market replacing the Qualcomm chip in the US variant.
There are still dark patches in this report as their is no confirmation if this is going to be the same mediocre chip found in early Intel phones like Lava or if there are any improvements in the chip making it suitable for Android devices.
Motorola and Intel scored a partnership back at CES this year and this would be the first device to come out of the joint venture. The UK event is scheduled on 18th September and the event invites confirms the presence of Intel as well which directly hints to a device or two powered by Intel chips.
RAZR M is a pure example of sexy and slick device. It has the thinnest bezel you’ll find on an Android phone so far. The phone looks super-sexy in your hand. The M packs a 4.3″ 960x540p Super AMOLED display, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage expandable via microSD card and runs Android 4.0 ICS – although Motorola has promised a Jelly Bean update at the end of this year. The UK version of the RAZR M will sport a White rear cover as opposed to the ugly looking black cover enforced by Verizon on the US variant. (Let’s not forget the “DROID” in the name as well). Let us know what you think about the RAZR M by commenting below.
