Featured: Samsung Galaxy Music leaks ahead of Samsung's October 11th event

Earlier this week when the Samsung Galaxy S III in Poland started seeing the update to Jelly Bean, Samsung released a list of devices which would get Jelly Bean. On that list were a few devices that I had never heard of, and later that same day on our Podcast, none of my fellow writers here at Android Headlines had heard of them either. Those included the Galaxy Music and Galaxy Chat. Then we see invites for an October 11th event where Samsung is teasing to unleash something “Sensational”, along with some leaked specs of the Galaxy Music. Today, we are learning even more about this little device.

The Samsung Galaxy Music is a 3.0-inch display at QVGA (240×320) resolution, with a small 850MHz single-core processor, and it is running Android 4.0 – Ice Cream Sandwich. As all the other OEMs that are currently releasing devices, “Jelly Bean Upgradeable”. So what exactly does that mean? Will it get Jelly Bean as soon as you buy it? Will it be months later? We’ll have to wait and see. There will also be a dual-SIM version of the device, named Galaxy Music Duos.

Obviously this is a device set for first-time smartphone owners. Possibly even a device for teenagers who don’t have jobs yet. So how well do you think this will sell? Wonder if it’ll ever make it to the States, or if it’ll just stay in Europe and Asia.
