Featured: Samsung Galaxy Note 2 headed to Sprint?

One of the guys over in the XDA community was going through Samsungs RDF’s and came across an unannounced device with the model number SPH-L900. That person then spoke to his source and was able to confirm that is indeed the Galaxy Note 2. And it’s looking like this might be the Sprint version judging by the specs.

Now it’s important that we take this with a grain of salt because these are not official specs yet:

  • Exynos4412 processor
  • 1280—720 resolution
  • Android 4.1.1!
  • Support for EVDO, DOrA, WiFi and LTE!
  • 2 GB RAM
  • 16 GB HDD (with expansion slot up to 32 GB)
  • 8 Megapixel camera

I’ve heard many people say they wanted to see a CDMA version of the original Note, well if this holds true we will at least have a Sprint version of the Note 2. Hopefully a Verizon version will be out soon too, but you know the bootloader will be locked.

Who’s itching to get the Galaxy Note 2? Is that gorgeous but big 5.5-inch display right for you?
