Last week the Sony Xperia T took a visit to the FCC, but it did not show support for AT&T’s network including its LTE network. While we were sad that it wasn’t supporting AT&T’s LTE network, we were hoping for a 4G capable US model. Now we have it. The Xperia T has visited our good friends at the FCC again and brought along with it some nice LTE radios for AT&T’s network.
You may recall the images we saw recently of the Sony Xperia T with an AT&T logo on it. So far Sony nor AT&T has made anything official, but it does indeed look like those of us on AT&T will get another Sony Xperia device in the near future. After the FCC approves of the Xperia T, all we need is an official announcement from AT&T with launch dates and pricing.
The Sony Xperia T was shown off at IFA last month, and it has some pretty nice specs to go along with it. The device features a stunning 4.6″ HD Reality Display powered by the Mobile BRAVIA® Engine for razor sharp clarity, 13MP rear-facing camera capable of 1080p video, and a front facing camera capable of 720p video, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.0.4 (Sony promises a Jelly Bean update following the device’s launch), 16GB of internal storage, comes with an SD card slot supporting up to 32GB, powered by a 1850mAh battery.
Despite the size of the battery and running Ice Cream Sandwich still, the device packs some rather nice specs for a Sony device. So if or when the Xperia T hits AT&T are you going to pick it up?
