Featured LG Nexus' Wireless Charging Confirmed by FCC visit

Seems like all we’ve been reporting on lately is the LG Nexus. Well this time it appears that the device has taken a visit to the FCC. That normally means that it is now ready to be announced and launched. So this LG Nexus is becoming more of a reality now. It appears that the LG Nexus will have a special back cover to allow the phone to charge sans wires. This exact same cover will also support NFC functionality for Android Beam, Google Wallet and some more features that could be coming soon.

It looks like with Wireless Charging now being on a couple of Nokia’s Windows phones and now the LG Nexus that this is going to become the next must have feature for smartphones. We don’t have much else on Wireless Charging for this LG device, but hopefully we’ll know more about it over the next few weeks. I’m still hoping we get an announcement of the LG Nexus (and a few other Nexus devices) along with Android 4.2 before this month is over. We’ve got some more pictures below for your enjoyment.

So is a feature like Wireless Charging enough to talk you into picking up the LG Nexus 4? Sound off in the comments with your opinions.
