We all want Jelly Bean. There’s no doubt about that. I’ve actually been running it on my Sprint Galaxy Nexus since the day after Google I/O where Jelly Bean was announced. Now a lot of people don’t want to run a custom ROM to get Jelly Bean on their device, and that’s there choice. Until Sprint pushed out the Jelly Bean update last month I was running CM10 for a good while.
Today Samsung set up a Jelly Bean update page. It included their Nexus devices along with the Galaxy S3. So far the Galaxy S2 is absent from the update list, but that doesn’t mean it won’t receive it. Both the Sprint Nexus S 4G, and Galaxy Nexus along with Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus all say “Jelly Bean update is available!”, which of course they all got rolled out in the last month or so. but the Samsung Galaxy S3 is listed as “Coming Soon!” for all carriers.
So there’s not really any new information here yet. As we all knew that the Galaxy S3 would be getting Jelly Bean anyways. But we want it now! Any S3 owners out there running a custom ROM of Jelly Bean? Like AOKP, CM 10, or even a leak?
