With Android 4.1 being such an amazing release, some people have wondered: “How will google keep innovating and making this even better?” With Android 4.2 already bringing great features like gesture typing and multi-user support, Android decided to step up the camera a notch.
In Android 4.2 Google adds a new ability called “Photo Sphere” which Google says: “lets you capture images that are literally larger than life. Snap shots up, down and in every direction to create stunning 360-degree immersive experiences that you can share on Google+ with friends and family—or you can add your Photo Sphere to Google Maps for the world to see.”
With this new feature Google lets you make “Street View” type photos that cover a whole 360 degrees in an easy-to-use interface that shows you anywhere you might have missed. The final product is an amazing 360-degree bubble you can look around in. With the Nexus 4’s 8MP camera, Google puts Android years ahead of the competition. My hope is we will see this feature loaded onto the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Camera to truly give you an amazing viewing experience.
