Motorola Solstice XT901 Stops by FCC, with LTE headed to US Cellular

After Motorola had a pretty quiet first half of 2012, they are bringing out plenty of phones to end the year. In September alone they introduced the DROID RAZR MAXX HD, DROID RAZR HD, DROID RAZR M and the RAZR i. During the summer they introduced the Atrix HD and Photon Q 4G LTE. Now we see another Motorola device passing through the FCC and is headed to regional carrier US Cellular.

This Motorola device is codenamed the Solstice with a model number of XT901. So what do we know about the device? Well here are the spec’s we know so far:

  • Android 4.0.4 – Ice Cream Sandwich
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
  • Bluetooth
  • 4G LTE

That’s about it. Yeah not to much as far as specs go. Hopefully we’ll see a nice dual-core processor (not holding my breathe for quad-core), and a nice 4.3-4.5″ display. But we’ll find out more in the coming weeks/months.

Anyone on US Cellular looking for a new device soon? Think we’ll see some edge-to-edge display goodness on this device like on the DROID RAZR M? If you want a cheap(ish) one, you might want to keep an eye on this device.
