Seems quite a few retailers have dropped the price on the 16GB Nexus 7 and added the 32GB version early. The 32GB model of the Nexus 7 was due to be announced tomorrow in New York City but thanks to Hurricane Sandy, that won’t be happening. We’ve also seen many leaks reflecting the pricing we see at Office Depot, including their website earlier this week. So Office Depot has the 16GB Nexus 7 price at $199, and the 32GB version at $249. So maybe the 8GB version will drop to the $99 price we heard rumors about a few weeks ago?
Of course everyone knows how excited we are to see a 32GB version of the Nexus 7. Especially if it’s on sale for the same price as the 16GB debuted at. We were also excited to see the new Nexus 10 and Nexus 4 devices. But we’ll have to wait a bit longer before we see these devices, and not to mention Android 4.2.
As soon as we learn more about rescheduling of Google’s “The Playground is Open” event, we’ll pass the information along to you.
