If you’re looking for a bargain on an Android tablet for this holiday season, the Kogan Agora is ready for you. The ten-inch tablet just took a price cut to bring the cost down to £104 for the 8GB model. (Sorry, Americans. This deal’s for the UK market.)
Both the 8GB and the 16GB Kogan Agora models were cut by £15, making these affordable tablets even more, well, affordable. While the 8GB Agora 10 is £104, the 16GB model only costs £114. (Might as well spring for the extra 8 gigs when the prices are so close, right?)
Both tablets do have a microSD slot to add some more storage, as well. Here’s a quick rundown of other specs you may want to know about.
- 10-inch (1024 x 768) IPS display
- 1GHz ARM v7 processor
- 1GB of RAM
- USB 2.0
- Mini HDMI
- 3.5mm headphone jack
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
- VGA quality front facing camera
- 2 megapixel rear facing camera
The Kogan Agora runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and features full access to the Google Play Store.
This certainly isn’t a powerhouse tablet, but it’s a great way to jump into full-sized tablets without spending a boatload of cash.
I have young children, so a budget tablet for them to play games on could help me relax more. Because when (not if, but when) the tablet hit the ground, I wouldn’t have to think as much about the price tag.
