It doesn’t matter who you are. We all want great battery life from our phones. Power management is getting better in phones and the days of 1,500 mAh batteries are becoming a thing of the past.
One phone that’s been highly revered on the smartphone front is the Droid Razr Maxx and Maxx HD which, while keeping a slim profile, pack a massive 3,300 mAh battery. Well, Lenovo looks to step things up a bit with the P770, a phone with a 4.5 inch display and other reasonable specs.
Best of all, it’ll be packing a 3,500 mAh battery which will have no problem blasting through a full day and then some. A couple photos were leaked that show off the front of the device and the back with the cover taken off, clearly displaying the battery and capacity.
Unfortunately, with those two shots, we have no idea how thick the device will be. The beauty of the Razr Maxx is the thin profile. Hopefully Lenovo has managed to do the same. Here’s some of the rumored specs:
- 4.5 inch 960 x 540 display
- 1.2GHZ MediaTek MT6577 dual-core processor
- 8 megapixel rear-facing camera
- Android 4.1 Jelly Bean or to come as an update after launch
What does seem a bit off is that the phone will cost around $270 US. That’s very low and has us raising some eyebrows. There’s no word on availability and although the screen isn’t the best, if the price is right and the battery doesn’t make the phone too large, it could be a nice alternative to Motorola’s offering.
