Well it looks like Mugen Power has done it again. They have just announced a massive 6400mAh extended battery to power your shiny new Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Now keep in mind that the original battery is 3100mAh, and this is more than twice that size. So with this huge battery your Note 2 should last you all day long and probably all day the next day as well. This extended battery will put you back about $100 in the process though.
If you’ve watched or listened to any of our podcasts, you probably know how much I love having good battery life. I even wrote the Droid DNA off for having such a small battery powering that 1080p display. I am so tired of my phone dying in the middle of the day because I am actually using it. I’m sure many of you feel like a small bit of you died inside when your phone dies, right? It’s like you’re out in public naked when your phone is dead.
The massive Mugen Power extended battery for the Galaxy Note 2 will be available for shipping starting December 21st, but you can get your order in now. So it’s not quite ready yet. It’ll cost you about $98.95 and comes in both grey and white. Shipping is free but, well this is what it says at check out in regards to shipping:
(10-15 working days, sent with 1st class AirMail, trackable online)
That’s a pretty long time for shipping. So looks like this won’t be around in time to be put under the tree this Christmas. As you probably won’t get your hands on it until next year unfortunately.
Who’s going to order one of these from Mugen Power? If you do order one, would you mind letting us know how long your battery lasts with it. I’d be interested to see how many days it’ll last now. As I’ve heard the Note 2’s battery is already pretty good and can last a full day and sometimes longer.
