Last week, Google finally announced the Nexus 10 which was made in partnership with Samsung and boy does it pack some nice specs. Even though it has great hardware, one thing it doesn’t have is LTE. That may or may not eventually come, but if you’re on AT&T and want a tablet with LTE, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be available in just a few days.
It’ll come in at $499.99 which is cheaper than what Sprint will be charging at $550. AT&T is looking to knock off $100 off the $499.99 price tag, that is if you buy a new smartphone as well which isn’t too bad. It’ll have to be a Samsung device though from what’s being said so we’re talking Galaxy S III, Note 2, etc.
Here’s a quick recap of the specs:
- 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 display
- 1.5GHZ dual-core processor
- 1GB RAM
- 8GB internal storage with microSD card support
- 3 megapixel rear-facing camera
- VGA front-facing camera
- 4G LTE connectivity
- 7,000 mAh battery
- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with TouchWiz
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is said to be available November 9th. While not as impressive as the Nexus 10, at least this tablet has LTE which was kept off the 10, at least this time around, to keep the price so low. Do you want a tablet that has 3G or 4G or are you just fine with WiFi?
