It wasn’t too long ago that it was released that pre-orders for the Nexus 7 dock would be available, which had yet to be announced. The most recent discovery has been a dock for the Nexus 10! Since I am in the market for the Nexus 10 I am super excited! However, we do not have much information other than what you see in the video.
Asus will be the manufacturer for the Nexus 7 dock, so it would only be appropriate to assume that Samsung will be manufacturing the dock for the Nexus 10, right?
You see the appearances of the dock at 57 seconds into the video, and again at 1 minute and 16 seconds. It shows as not being very large, as it does not go the entire length of the tablet as you will notice from the video. Since it does not go the entire length of the Nexus 10, it does have a slightly raised back to hold the 10 inch tablet properly.
What does this mean? Since Christmas is only 2 days away I find it hard to believe that it will become available until after the holidays. Even though it may not be in time for Christmas it still is exciting news to hear for anyone that loves Android and will make great gifts for anyone that owns one.
You will notice in the video that Google is hosting a Christmas party, and that one employee notices the sadness within Andy Android and then starts to help make Christmas become even more real for him as they connect to a TV through a Nexus 4 giving him a wonderful snowy look. Then the Nexus 4, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10 are joined to help make it even more festive for Andy Android, and low and behold he’s joined by many of his fellow “Andies.”
It’s definitely a cute video from Google and the bonus is the fact that they “secretly” threw in the Nexus 10 dock. As I watched the video I wondered if this action was done on purpose or not even meant at all. Either way it will excite many, and we now have something else we can look forward to buying for our beloved Nexus devices.
It definitely excites me and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that by the end of January that this dock will be available for purchase as well. I am a huger lover of technology, aren’t you too?
