Samsung and Chillingo have joined powers in a attempt to bring as much developers they can to Samsung’s own app vending platform, Samsung Apps. And I could see why they want that, the platform has an awful offering, but that may well be because my location. The 100% venue margins are nothing to laugh at, though that can also be read as desperation on Samsung’s part..
The 100% of the sales of your app will only be up from March 2013 until September 2013 (or the first 6 months). After September 2013, you will receive 90% of the revenues for the next six months until March 2014. After that March developers will receive 80% for the next year and finally stopping at 70% of revenues after the 4th of March 2015.
They also uploaded an introduction video on Youtube to get the word out. I added it below, for your viewing pleasure.

A thing which the video stressed is the fact that by entering this program, you will not lose the ability to publish to other bigger Android Markets, there not being any exclusivity clauses in the contract. This is surely good news to any developer looking to cash in on their app, allowing benefit from both the Play Store and Samsung App Store.
In order to get your app in the market, you must first pass a submission review, in which Samsung will hand pick the best apps to publish. Another thing worth mentioning is the fact that only games are allowed in this special promotion.
For those of you interested in participating, you must get your app ready for inspection by the 4th of March when the program will not receive any more. You can read more, or post your entry at their official website (which is here). The site also features useful tools and articles an aspiring developer will find useful and will help them make better apps. Depending on the quality of the game, it will have a bigger exposure to the public.
The 100% Indie program was started by Chillingo, one of the biggest mobile games publishers with award-winning games such as Angry Birds, Cut the Rope and others.
