We just received an anonymous tip that T-Mobile is going to be doing training sessions for their employees from March 12th-28th for the HTC One which should be released sometime this month. So what does that mean exactly? Well T-Mobile employees are getting training on all the new features of the HTC One, which generally happens days before the phone releases.
When HTC announced the One a couple weeks ago, it was confirmed that it would be heading to T-Mobile, AT&T and Sprint. Now it’s supposedly launching in the UK on March 14th, so we should start to see it here in the states anytime after that. For those of you that might have forgotten, here are the specs of the HTC One:
- 4.7-inch 1080p display giving it a 468ppi
- 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor
- 2GB of RAM
- 32/64GB internal storage; No microSD card slot
- Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS and GLONASS
- 2,300mAh battery
- Android 4.1.2
- Sense 5.0
- IR Reciever allowing you to use the HTC One as a TV remote
All of that is coming to T-Mobile, and it’ll also be compatible with T-Mobile’s LTE network once they start lighting it up. Hopefully we’ll see more information on the T-Mobile HTC One very soon, along with details on their new UNcarrier changes we heard about earlier this week.
We’re expecting the HTC One to sell at about $199 and $299 for the 32GB and 64GB but with T-Mobile’s new no-contract thing they are getting ready to start. Who knows how much they’ll be charging for the HTC One, but we’ll be sure to stay on top of that.
How many of you are excited about the HTC One? Personally, I think the black HTC One looks better than the white one. Hopefully both models will be coming to T-Mobile. Let us know in the comments below if you’re excited for the HTC One on T-Mobile.
Thanks, Anonymous
