Google Releases Session Schedule for Google I/O 2013

We are just two weeks (and a few hours) away from the kick off of Google I/O 2013 on May 15th. We’ve already learned that Google is kicking off their annual developer conference with a 3-hour keynote to announce new devices, software updates, and more. Now we know what sessions are going to be held and when.

Google published the Session schedule for I/O on their developers blog this evening. Sessions are basically a bunch of workshops/breakout meetings where you can get specific answers to concentrated questions or topics. Keep in mind that this is a developer conference, so you’ve got Google employees talking to smart developers, so hopefully they won’t get any “dumb” questions. But who knows.

So far there are no real details given about these sessions but there are some interesting topics to be discussed which include Google Cloud Messaging on day 2. A lot of people are speculating, but that could have something to do with Babel, we’ll have to wait a couple weeks to see if it really is or not. There’s also another topic on Day 1 titled “JAM with Chrome: How we built a massive multiplayer game using only web technology”, so it looks like the Chrome team will be answering some questions about online gaming. Which is something many of us would love to see as part of Chrome OS.

Google+ seems to be all about the Google+ sign-in integration, which is something you should have been expecting. YouTube and Maps seem to have their normal talks about their various services. Nothing special there.

You can check out the full schedule in the source link down below. But it’s about that time to get excited about Google I/O and with good reason. There are lots of goodies rumored for I/O this year. And we’ll be there to bring you all of the non-stop action as it happens!
