Today, AT&T not only kicked off the pre-orders for their HTC First that was just announced, but they have also started taking HTC One pre-orders today. The HTC One will be $199 for the 32GB version, and $299 for the 64GB version. This is on contract pricing. AT&T has said that you can pre-order if you’re buying off contract as well. Although we aren’t sure what the full price will be, but I’d assume around $550-600 for the 32GB version.
If you pre-order before April 18th, AT&T will throw in a free Media Link HD for wireless streaming, which works with the HTC One X as well and came out last year. The HTC One will be in stores starting April 19th. So if you’re waiting to check out the HTC One in person, you’ll have to wait about 2 more weeks. The HTC One is a great looking device, but with HTC’s component shortages lately, pre-orders might sell out rather quicker than expected.
In addition to AT&T starting pre-orders for the HTC One, Sprint will be starting theirs tomorrow. Sprint is also offering the 32GB for $199 on contract, and it’ll be in stores starting April 19th. If you’ve forgotten what the HTC One specs are, here they are for a memory refresher:
- 4.7-inch 1080p display giving it a 468ppi
- 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor
- 2GB of RAM
- 32/64GB internal storage; No microSD card slot
- Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS and GLONASS
- 2,300mAh battery
- Android 4.1.2
- Sense 5.0
- IR Reciever allowing you to use the HTC One as a TV remote
Pretty great specs for the HTC One. How many of you are going to be pre-ordering from AT&T today? How many will be pre-ordering it from Sprint? Or are you going to grab the HTC First from AT&T? Let us know in the comments down below.
