Galaxy Note 3 Appears in Benchmarks, Running Android 4.3 and Model Number GT-N7200

We’ve all seen these benchmarks before right? In fact we saw quite a few of them leading up to Google I/O last week for the X Phone and the Nexus 4 LTE version that were rumored to be announced at Google’s developer conference last week. So before we get too into this one, it’s important that we remind you that these benchmarks are very easily faked. But it’s still fun to look at and possibly see what the rumored devices will be running.

This is the GT-N7200. We are to believe it’s the Galaxy Note 3 because the Galaxy Note 2 International is the GT-N7100. So it would fall right in line with previous patterns. It also says that’s running Android 4.3. Which is interesting since the latest version of Android is 4.2.2. But we are expecting to see Android 4.3 make the rounds later this summer. Finally, it appears to be running a 1.6GHz processor. Now we have no idea whether it’s quad, octa, Exynos or Snapdragon. But it did score over 27 thousand on the benchmark.

Samsung could be repeating what they did with the Galaxy S4, and having the Galaxy Note 3 launch with the latest version of Android, instead of being a version behind and touting that the update will be available in the “coming months”. That would be a huge selling point for the Galaxy Note 3, but then again Samsung didn’t really tout Android 4.2.2 on the Galaxy S4. In fact they didn’t even mention it at the launch event back in March.

We are still expecting the Galaxy Note 3 to be announced in early September, right before IFA, which is the first week of September in Berlin. That is the event that Samsung has used to announce the Galaxy Note, Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Camera. So at their fall Unpacked 2013 event we shouldn’t be to surprised to see the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Camera 2. How many of you are holding out for the Galaxy Note 3?
