Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Making Its Way to Verizon as the SCH-I435?

There is a Samsung device headed for Verizon, according to documents from the Bluetooth SIG. It’ll be model SCH-I435, which is a Samsung device. Additionally, all Samsung devices on Verizon begin with “SCH” in their model numbers, and this one is heading to North America. Making it very likely that it’ll hit any other carrier.

The Galaxy S4 is model number SCH-I545 and the Galaxy S4 was SCH-I535. So you could assume that the 500’s is for high-end Samsung devices and 400-level would be for mid-range devices like the Galaxy S4 Mini. The Samsung Stratosphere which was a mid-range when it launched was model SCH-I405 and the Stratosphere 2 was SCH-I425. Then again the Galaxy Note 2 is SCH-I605.

The phone that passed through the Bluetooth SIG is SCH-I435, which makes sense to be the Galaxy S4 Mini. You know the smaller version of this years flagship for Samsung? Then again, this could be the Samsung Stratosphere 3, in Samsung’s attempt to keep the QWERTY keyboard alive. But we’ll stick with it being the Galaxy S4 Mini. Whatever device it is, it’s a mid-ranger coming to Verizon. The only question is when?

The Galaxy S4 Mini was made official earlier this month, with it’s 4.3-inch display. We’ll also probably see it show up again at Samsung’s Premiere Event next week in London along with the Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Zoom and the Galaxy Camera. There’s also talk of a Galaxy Note 3 being announced then, but I wouldn’t hold my breath. You can check out the source links down below for more information about this device.

We’ll probably see this device become official in a press release from Verizon. They usually don’t hold big events for mid-range devices. But then they did hold a press conference at CTIA for Viva Movile. Let us know in the comments below if you’re interested in a Galaxy S4 Mini on Verizon.
