Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 Hits the FCC with AT&T LTE
The Galaxy Tab 3 family has already been available for a few weeks now. But the 7-incher has just hit the FCC with AT&T LTE. So we could be seeing some LTE versions of Samsung’s “mid-range” specced Galaxy Tab 3 lineup. I wonder how well it’ll compete in price to the Nexus 7 LTE?
MetroPCS Brings Coverage to 15 new markets
T-Mobile has been merged with MetroPCS for all of 3 months and they have already nearly doubled their coverage. Bringing MetroPCS coverage into about 15 new markets as of today. They are also unveiling a new plan and some new smartphones.
“We’ve been beating our no-contract competitors hands-down for value, and now, with the strength of the T-Mobile 4G network behind us, that lead is only going to grow,” said Tom Keys, MetroPCS COO and executive vice president. “We’re setting a blazing fast trail and, with our retail partners, will compete aggressively with our ‘$40, period’ rate plan to win over consumers one-by-one.”
New Nexus 7 Kind of Available at Staples
Yesterday, Google announced the new Nexus 7. They also announced that it would be available at many retailers this year instead of just a few. It also looks like both versions are available at retailers now as the 16GB and 32GB have appeared on Staples website, but they are currently out of stock…until July 30th.
