Galaxy S4 Arrives at MetroPCS Today
On Monday, MetroPCS began selling Samsung’s 2013 flagship phone, the Galaxy S4. The device will cost $549, remember you’re paying full price since MetroPCS is a prepaid carrier and does not have contracts. But their plans start as low as $40/month.
Twitter Updates all Its Apps
On Monday, Twitter decided to update all seven of their official apps with a feature that we are surprised was never there in the first place. Direct Message Syncing. Twitter has also improved search on all the apps.
Samsung Partners with Boingo for Exclusive Deal
For those of you purchasing the Galaxy Note 8.0 and/or the Galaxy Tab 3, you’ll be delighted to know that you’ll be getting free Boingo hotspots thanks to a new partnership between Samsung and Boingo. This is similar to what Google has Boingo for it’s Chromebooks.
Verizon Raising the Price of their insurance plans
Verizon insurance plans, also known as Extended Warranty and Total Equipment Coverage, is now being raised to $3 and $8 respectively per month. The new change will go into effect July 25th.

Timing
-New customers: effective date is 7/25/13. New customers include those who are:
- New to Verizon Wireless and to EW or TEC.
- Existing customers adding EW or TEC for the first time to an existing or new line of service.
-Existing customers with EW or TEC service: effective date is 9/26/13.
-Existing customers will be sent notification letters of the price change between 7/10/13- 7/26/13.
Facebook Home Gets Updated
