Today’s Droid news appears to be dwindling down a bit now, and @evleaks has just posted some useful information for those looking forward to the HTC T6. We’ve heard quite a bit about the HTC T6, which is supposedly going to be the HTC One Max, now we are getting word that the device will be headed to AT&T. Which leaves us thinking “How many exclusives will AT&T get?” So far they have the Galaxy S4 Active, Optimus G Pro and a few others. Seems like AT&T is the carrier to be on now. The HTC One Max is said to be sporting a 5.9-inch display to compete with the Galaxy Note 3 and Xperia Z Ultra. Along with a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor and an Ultrapixel camera and 3,300mAh battery powering it all.
@Evleaks also commented about the HTC Zara, which we just saw hit the rounds yesterday. The HTC Zara is a plastic built HTC One variant. Which we believed might be cheaper than the HTC One but at this point, no one knows. We don’t know much about the HTC Zara at this point. For all we know, it could be a Windows Phone 8 device. But @evleaks seems to think it’s heading to Sprint sometime soon.
@evleaks did share information about both devices within 30 minutes, it doesn’t mean that both devices are related. In fact they could be completely separate. The HTC Zara could be a CDMA variant of the One Max, but we really don’t have any clue right now. We’ll continue searching to see what we come up with though.
So much for one flagship this year, huh? HTC has announced a few Desire handsets this year and the HTC One Mini, which of course are not flagships. But I’d definitely expect the HTC One Max to be a flagship device, especially with a Snapdraogn 800 CPU inside.
