Moto X Leaks for Verizon, First Motorola Device Destined for Verizon that won't go "DDDRROOOIIIDDD" When you Get a Notification

Let’s continue with the Moto X leaks, shall we? Not too long ago, the Moto X leaked for Verizon over on Android Central’s forums. Guess what, it looks just like the Moto X we’ve been seeing leaked for weeks and months now. No Droid crap anywhere. Complete with the “Nexus” style on-screen buttons and the only real non-AOSP thing we can see is the LTE icon in the notification bar. Yes, that’s Verizon’s 4G LTE logo. How else would we know that it’s a Verizon phone?

The Moto X has been rumored to be very customizable. In fact, rumors surfaced earlier today that it’ll come with wood, ceramic and fabric backplates. I’m not sure how a wood backplate would hold up after say 6 months of use. I’d be perfectly happy with the polycarbonate finish and backplate. The Moto X is also said to have a ton of sensors to be able to predict what you’ll do with your phone next. Now, you can’t see too many of these sensors from this picture, so we can’t confirm whether or not they are there. The Moto X has been, as some would say, over hyped as of late. But no ones really talking about specs. It seems all the talk is about features and being able to customize it. So I think Motorola is aiming for a very smooth software experience here, with great battery life at a low price. Sound good to everyone?

Like I said in the title, this will be the first Motorola phone on Verizon to not be Droid branded. Which means none of that “DDDRRROOOOIIIDDD” notification ringtones (thank God). Not even the Droid eye. How many of you are glad to see that gone? Don’t get too happy though, Motorola has three Droids on the way including the Droid Ultra, Droid Mini and Droid Maxx.
