ASUS MeMo Pad FHD 10 LTE to Feature a Quad-Core Snapdragon and a Whole Lot More

Last June, ASUS revealed news of its upcoming MeMo Pad FHD 10 tablet and then, just the other day, unveiled their smartphone and tablet strategies, as they seek to make a bigger impact in the U.S. market. Now it seems that ASUS has been busy working on a LTE variant of the MeMo Pad FHD 10, and thanks to VR-Zone and an ASUS video they posted, we now know quite a few things about this tablet.

The original version of the MeMo Pad FHD 10 will be sporting an Intel dual-core Atom processor clocked at 1.6GHz, whereas the LTE version will be using the Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor; although whether it will be the 600 or 800 model is not specified. We can only speculate it maybe the 800 model as the video touts its gaming and multitasking capabilities.

Many specific numbers are not given to use in a promotional video, but the highlights show us it will pack:

  • 10-inch 1920 x 1200 Full HD IPS Display with a178-degree viewing angle
  • 9.9mm thick and weighs in at 572g
  • 5MP Camera with auto focus
  • MicroSD Card slot for up to 64GB of Storage
  • 10 hours of battery life (no size given)
  • Dual-Stereo Speakers with SonicMaster Technology
  • Includes Miracast for Seamless Video to TV
  • Colors: Black or White

The video also shows that ASUS has included SuperNote Lite, so that you can read, write, or scribble notes at any time. ASUS’s Folio Key accessory also is compatible – a super-thin sleeve cover that features a built-in Bluetooth full QWERTY keyboard, with an adjustable angle stand adding even more functionality to your MeMo Pad FHD 10 LTE tablet.

From the ASUS video, we know that this will be the real deal and should compete well in the market depending on the price range. Let us know in the comments if this looks like a tablet you would want to own.
