Comparison: LG G2 vs Moto X vs Samsung Galaxy S4

So the LG G2 is now official. So why not compare the specs to other flagship devices? We’re comparing the G2 to the Moto X to the Galaxy S4 in terms of specs. For the most part, quite a bit of the specs are similar. All three devices are using Qualcomm processors. The Moto X is running a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro, while the Galaxy S4 has the Snapdragon 600, 800 or Exynos 5 Octa depending on the variant. And the LG G2 is sporting the Snapdragon 800, which is clocked at 2.26GHz. Which should make this thing blazing fast!

As you can see in the table down below, we are comparing the displays, processor, storage space, camera’s, connectivity, battery size, operating system, dimensions of the device, carrier availability and the pricing of the devices. Although the G2’s pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but we are expecting it to be about the same price as the Moto X and the Galaxy S4. Once we find out the official price we’ll be sure to let everyone know.

Looking at the dimensions, the LG G2 is about the same size as the Galaxy S4, but it’s a little bit thicker. Which is expected since it does sport a bigger battery. But at just 1mm thicker, how many people will really notice the difference? I know I probably won’t notice it since I’ll more than likely throw an extended battery onto the device anyways. All three devices have Android 4.2.2 on board along with their respective custom user interfaces, even though Motorola has the most “stock Android looking” user interface. It’s definitely great to see all three of these devices available on all three carriers, although the G2 isn’t coming to US Cellular, at least not yet.

How many of you are excited for the G2? How does the G2 stack up to the competition in your opinion? I think it’s right in par as far as the specs go, even though the G2 is overall, the biggest phone out of the bunch. But also has the most power and biggest battery inside.
