The Moto X comes with an AMOLED display which is pretty similar to most of their phones we’ve seen in the past few years. Even the Motorola Droid Mini, Maxx and Ultra feature an AMOLED display.

We’ve already learned that the Moto X is launching on 5 US carriers. There’s no word about it coming to other countries around the world. It’s also set to be $199-249 on contract, but it sounds like the Motorola execs aren’t quite sure when they’ll be available or if this is the set price. The Moto X is set to launch in late August or early September. Just barely beating the new Nexus onto store shelves. Although the Moto X will be on more carriers than the Nexus.
