Nuance Makes Its Way into S Voice on the Galaxy Gear and Galaxy Note 3

This morning, Nuance announced that their Voice and Language Technologies will debut on the Samsung Galaxy Gear and the Galaxy Note 3. Samsung has integrated the Nuance’s voice technology across handsets, tablets, TVs and now Samsung is bringing it to wearables. Their voice technology allows you to incredibly and intuitive and natural interface. Nuance has always been at the forefront of revolutionizing devices to create intelligent systems through voice, text and even gesture-based technologies. Between Samsung and Nuance, you can create a simple, effortless and personalized mobile experience for Android that understands, learns and adapts to the preferences of the consumer.

“Samsung GALAXY Gear and the Samsung GALAXY Note 3 will change how people stay connected.  And through the power of voice, people are able to effortlessly and intuitively engage this new paradigm of wearable technology,” said Michael Thompson, executive vice president and general manager, Nuance Mobile.  “The reality of wearable voice input that understands, learns, anticipates and adapts is now here.”

So in addition to all the other features and services on the Galaxy Note 3, we can add another feature to that list. Nuance is a pretty great company (they are behind Apple’s Siri) and does well with their voice and language technologies. This announcement is the first use of Nuance’s voice and intelligent systems-based technology into the wearables’ category as part of a larger company expansion which is all about the cloud. We should hear more about the Nuance Cloud services.

How many of you are excited to use Nuance’s new integration into the Galaxy Gear and the Galaxy Note 3? I’m definitely excited to see how Nuance will work on both these devices. Too bad it’s not working on the new Galaxy Note 10.1, 2014 Edition. By the way, that’s the most annoying name ever. Let us know your thoughts in the comments down below.
