LG’s latest flagship, the G2, was announced in early August, and it is looking to be one of the best smartphones out there in the crowded land of Android phones. While LG said that the global rollout would take place sometime in September, they never gave a specific date or region, other than saying that it would launch in the US and Germany first. We now have a specific date for T-Mobile in the US, and it’s just around the corner. Starting September 18th you can order one online for $100 down, with 24 monthly payments of somewhere around $22 to make the LG G2 a total of $630. If you’d prefer to buy it in store it’ll be on T-Mobile shelves on September 25th, and will be available in both black and white colors as seen from the official unveiling. The best part is that if you already know you want LG’s latest powerhouse phone, you can pre-order one right now. That’ll guarantee that you get your LG G2 September 18th in the color you want it. LG’s G2 competes with the best of them out there, and is actually going to be launching on the same day as the Galaxy Note 3 which is likely no coincidence on either LG or Samsung’s part. With a larger 5.2-inch screen than even the Galaxy S4, the LG G2 is just 0.1 inches smaller than the original Galaxy Note. This puts it in a unique position to offer a physically standard-sized device with a phablet-sized screen thanks to the incredibly thin bezels LG has around the screen. If you haven’t seen the specs yet check them out:

If you are looking for a more affordable phone either for yourself or someone else, T-Mobile has launched the LG Optimus F6 today. The LG F6 is selling online for $50 down with 24 monthly payments of $10, making the F6 a total of $290. That’s considerably cheaper than the LG G2, but definitely not in the same value range as Google’s own Nexus 4. If you’d prefer to get the LG Optimus F6 in store you’ll have to wait until September 11th to do so. The LG Optimus F6 is a 4.5-inch phone with mid-range specs that’s probably more suited for the budget-minded consumer.
