Samsung's Galaxy S4 Mini Hitting AT&T, Sprint and Verizon This November

Just as wethought, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is finally about to make its way stateside. The Galaxy S4 Mini was announced some time ago and has been on sale in Europe and other parts of the world. Following in the footsteps of the Galaxy S3 Mini, this is Samsung’s way of offering a smaller device with all the same software features and similar performance. Much like the HTC One Mini. Of course, the performance side of things is obviously not going to be as good as the Snapdragon 600 packing Galaxy S4 but, the Mini also offers the same sort of experience at a lower price.

You can take a look at the Galaxy S4 Mini’s specs below:

  • 4.3-inch qHD AMOLED Display
  • 1.7 Ghz Dual-Core CPU
  • 1.5GB of RAM
  • 8GB of internal storage, with microSD support
  • Android 4.2.2
  • 1,900 mAh Battery

Unsurprisingly, the specs don’t quite add up to the smaller device that a lot of users have been crying for ever since the Galaxy S4 made the jump to 5-inches. Still, more choice is good for everyone and with the news that the device is headed to more than just one carrier this November is good news to us. After all, carrier exclusive are rarely a good idea so, it’s good to see that Samsung is bringing their Galaxy S4 Mini to AT&T, Sprint and Verizon. T-Mobile seems absent right now but, they might unveil plans to carry the device later on.

The Galaxy S III Mini just launched on AT&T for $0.99 with a two-year contract. We’re wondering whether the Galaxy S4 Mini will launch at a much lower price than the full-size Galaxy S4. At $99 on contract, this would sell pretty well this holiday season, especially for those looking for a new device that don’t need that much processing power and don’t want a much larger device. What do you think to the Galaxy S4 Mini? Is 4.3-inches too small for a device these days? Let us know in the comments below!
