First T-Mobile, then Sprint and then AT&T. Now Verizon’s Moto X will be the last to get the Camera update that so many of us have raved about. A few Verizon Moto X owners have gotten an email from Motorola’s Feedback Network, about a soak test for the Moto X. We already know what this update is. It’s basically only to fix the Camera. Although I’m sure there will be some other bug fixes as there always is. The update really improves the camera greatly, which was undoubtedly the only downfall of the Moto X. Aside from Moto Maker being exclusive to AT&T still, which is the only reason why I don’t recommend it to my friends that aren’t on AT&T. Here’s the email that Motorola has sent out:
Hi,
Thanks for joining the Motorola Feedback Network. We are inviting owners of the Moto X on Verizon to participate in an early preview of a new software release, and provide feedback. If you are not currently using a Moto X, please excuse and ignore this email.
Click this link – XXXXX – to take the enrollment survey if you wish to take part. Note that you must be a member in good standing of the Motorola Owners’ Forums to be included. The registration window could close without notice so please respond as quickly as possible.
This is a confidential test under the terms of the Motorola Feedback Network. Do not post any details or information about this on any public sites.
Thanks – please understand that start times are always fluid. We ask for your patience if you register but don’t hear from us right away.
Matt

Typically with these soak tests, the update will start rolling out to the testers within a day or two and it’ll be tested for a few days and if everything goes alright, it’ll be rolled out within a week of when this email starts hitting inboxes. So I’d expect an update within the next week to start rolling out. Which is surprisingly fast for Verizon and Motorola.
