Its time to let out the collector in you and break out the wallet. The Dead Zebra shop just opened up their doors and released the 4th series in their popular collectible Android figurine sets. There are a lovely little assortment of collectible figures this time around, from a Golden plated Android to the mean looking Dictator that just wants you to take him home so he can rule over all your other little Androids. Theres even one from google again called “yellow”. Simple and understated.
Now if you want to get your hands on some of or attempt for all of these little guys than you better hurry because typically the stock of the collectibles doesn’t last that long. The shop opened up stock sometime this morning, and once they run out of initial stock they’ll restock the store once today again at 8pm PST/11pm EST. So if you don’t get in during the madness of the first run you always have tonight. If you don’t make that than you’re pushing your luck and will have to check every so often to find out when the shop will restock with more which will be hit or miss. Past that its off to ebay/hobby shops and maybe craigslist?
These adorable little figurines come in blind boxes, so you never know what you’re going to get. TIP: There is one secret rare. So if you absolutely must have the secret rare you might just want to buy as many as you can. You can grab single boxes at $8.50 a pop, or you can grab a case of 16 for $132. Each household is limited to 32 boxes (or two cases) all together. So that means you can order two cases than have your mom order two cases. problem solved. Unless of course you still live at home.
Besides the collectible figurines, the Dead Zebra Shop has some other cool and maybe somewhat nerdy little stuff on sale. If you guessed Android Socks you’d be right. Two different pairs of extremely awesome Android themed socks to help you convey your OS allegiance. There is a black sock with plenty of little tiny green androids, and then a white and green sock which is green from the toe up all the way past your ankle where there is a little Andy head peering out at anyone who will notice. The socks are the same price as a single figurine so you only have to cough up $8.50 a pair if you want to pick up both. Perhaps a pair for the whole family even!
