The Original DOOM Comes To Android And Gets Pulled, But Now It’s Back With A New Name
DOOM fans had a brief time to rejoice earlier this week when the Original DOOM was released onto Android to celebrate the games 20th Anniversary. The excitement was short lived as the game was promptly removed from the Play Store as quickly as it took to register this awesome game was there in the first place. It seems that the development company behind the games release had displayed that the game included the WAD files, or something to that effect, which caused the pulling of the game, as id Software owns the rights to the WAD files. Thankfully, one of the developers had reached out to us and let us know that Original Doom is back in the Play Store and ready for action. It seems there were some legal issues concerning the apps name, but once those got fixed, Google re-published the app. The dev team, Eltechs, have re-published the game under a new title, as well as gave it a new apk so if you haven’t gotten your hands on it yet you can grab it from the link. Doom by Eltechs is available for free in the Play Store, but you now have to add the correct WAD files to play it.
Super Duck Is Released Onto The Play Store And Asks You To Save All The Little Ducks
We wrote about this awesome little platformer yesterday, but for those of you who didn’t catch it, Super Duck is a platformer type game where you’ll be playing as the mutant powered Super Duck, and your task is to save all the little ducks from the Evil Dr.’s scheme, to take over the world by using the little ducks to create his duck-mination machine. Inspired by games like Super Mario and Krusty super fun land, Super Duck is a fun little platformer that is full of fun. You can grab the game for free in the Play Store.
Sonic Races Back Onto Google Play With Another All Stars Game
SEGA must know we can’t get enough Sonic the Hedgehog. Because they just released Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed onto the Play Store yesterday for $4.99. Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed has a lot to contend with going up against the behemoth of all kart racers, Mario Kart. Seeing as how this game gets an Android version though and Mario Kart is nowhere to be found, we don’t think there will be much competition for it. Wikipad Aims To Release A Gamepad For Their Next Device
Wikipad, the company behind the Wikipad 7 inch gaming tablet that came out last year, is ditching the gaming tablet for their next device to try their hand at a gamepad instead. We covered this briefly yesterday, but for those of you who might have missed it, this gamepad is aiming to support a wide range of different tablets and devices, with the controls on either side and the device sitting snugly in the middle. The gamepad is called the Gamevice, and Wikipad aims to bring the device to your hands this year. They have some stiff competition from the major gamepads that area already available though, so we’ll have to wait and see if this will stack up.
