Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch Heading to T-Mobile Soon?

It appears that the 7-inch version of the Galaxy Tab 3 is on its way to T-Mobile pretty soon. Even though the Tab 3 was announced nearly 8 months ago. This news comes from leaked screenshots that show a live demo unit and a sale unit of the Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch in black in a T-Mobile database.

At this point, there’s no other details on the Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch for T-Mobile just yet. The Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch has already been on sale at Sprint for a while, in fact for a while they were selling it for $50 with a new contract. Basically all we know from this leak is that the Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch is coming to T-Mobile “soon”. It shouldn’t take too long for this one to pop up in the T-Mobile stores though, since it is a relatively low-end tablet from Samsung. Especially compared to the new Galaxy TabPRO’s and Galaxy NotePRO that was announced on Monday. We may even see T-Mobile announce it later today at their press conference from CES in Las Vegas. But then again, it may just pop up in the stores and on their website in the future. Since it’s not a flagship device, there’s no real reason for them to have an event for it.

For those that aren’t familiar with the Galaxy Tab 3 7-incher, it’s sporting a 1024×600 resolution display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB or 16GB internal storage, along with a microSD card. It also has a 3MP camera on the back with a 1.3MP shooter on the front. It’s also running Android 4.1 – Jelly Bean. It’s powered by a 4,000mAh battery as well. So it’s definitely not a competitor to the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014, or the Galaxy Note PRO 12.2. Or event he Nexus 7. But for a $50 tablet, it’s pretty good.

How many of you would buy the Galaxy Tab 3 7-inch from T-Mobile? Remember they do give you 200MB of free data on tablets for life. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
