For those of you who hope to be able to get on the HTC One M8 bandwagon, this update is for you. I hate to say it folks, but there is now a rumor that the awaited new phone will have its New York City launch in late March. I know it’s sad, sad but allegedly true. I would have loved to get my hands on that device much sooner than late March. This information comes from the @evleaks Twitter page. @evleaks is a normally accurate site for the information that they put out so just keep the update in mind as we press forward toward the release of the M8.
If you’re not sure about what the M8 is or have no idea what I am talking about, please read on for an explanation. You see, HTC is a company that has been making Android phones for a while now. They came up with this great phone called the HTC One last year and the reception for it was good. But, you and I both know about how things are when you have a good thing… you have to make it better! Well, to make it better. HTC is allegedly releasing the HTC One M8 to the masses. However, just like the released date, there are a lot of rumors floating around on the specs on the phone.
Android Headlines has pushed out information and updates on these rumored specs as best we can. @evleaks has leaked some of those possible specs and they are the following: the HTC One M8 may be the first to have on screen buttons, it will possibly have a 5-inch screen with potentially smaller bezels, it will have a better processor under the hood (maybe the likes of the Snapdragon 800 quad core), 2GB of RAM to run applications, it will possibly have an 8MP camera with its Ultrapixels technology included, and lastly it will be running the latest Android 4.4 KitKat while sporting the latest HTC Sense update, Sense 6.0. All of these possible specifications rolled up together will make for an amazing device just in their own right. As an HTC user myself, I hope to see them come out swinging for the fences with this next iteration of an awesome HTC phone. So, those are the rumors in the mill and I hope that we see the actual information regarding this release sooner rather than later. Until then, keep it locked to Android Headlines for more updates on the impending HTC One M8 release time and specs.
