Oppo Find 7 Will Have A Removable Battery

As much as I started to dislike my old Epic 4G Touch near the end of its two-year life, one thing about it kept me content… even though with time it slowly became less and less energy efficient, I was able to compensate for it by purchasing an expanded battery.  Sure, I almost doubled the weight of my phone, but it kept it running.  Unfortunately, phones of today are following a trend that is slowly killing the premise of a removable battery.  With carriers making plans that allows for you to upgrade your phone more rapidly than ever before, this may not be the worst thing.  However, for people who get phones on two-year contracts, it could mean quite the headache down the road.  My Nexus 5 does not have a removable battery, and with its so-so battery life as is, I am concerned for down the road.  While there are alternatives, such as buying a battery case or an external battery, nothing can come close to just buying a new battery designed specifically for the phone, getting a new battery capacity with the same sleek look that you bought your phone for.

This is where the upcoming Oppo Find 7 comes into the picture.  This phone, which will be a powerhouse to say the least, has been announced by Oppo to have a removable back and battery.  Oppo says that it will maintain the feel of a unibody phone (which is probably the reasoning behind why manufacturers are taking that route) but will still have the accessibility of a removable battery.  As I mentioned in an earlier post about this phone, it will have two variants: a 1080p screen and a QHD screen.  Both variants are expected to feature this removable battery, but we will find out for sure come March 19 when Oppo debuts their new device at an event dedicated specially for it in Beijing.  The phone is projected to be very sleek and very fast, so it will be interesting to see what it can do.  What do you think?  Are you looking forward to hearing more about this bad boy?  Let us know your thoughts and comments down below!
