We’ve seen the Samsung Galaxy S4 in so many colors already, but know it’s available in black as well. Which brings it’s faux leather back, from the Galaxy Note 3. The black edition has been available in Russia for a little while now, and it’s finally been made official by Samsung. It doesn’t really tell us anything new, but what it does tell us is that Samsung has plans to release the Black Edition elsewhere, other than just Russia. Which I’d love to see it stateside, I really like the looks of this black model.
So far details are still non-existent for where else the Black Edition of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini are going to be heading. But they do say that the Black Edition will be available in “select markets from February”, which means in the next 3 weeks we should see them popping up in different markets. I’d actually be shocked to see it arrive here in the US.
It’s quite obvious that Samsung doesn’t care that the Galaxy S5 is about to be announced, and that they want to keep selling the Galaxy S4. But why would they care? That’s still their own device being sold. There are currently about 4 different models of the Galaxy S4, and that’s not counting the LTE-Advanced that’s in South Korea or all of the different colors. We’ve got the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy S4 Active and the Galaxy S4 Zoom.
The Black Edition of the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Mini do look really nice, I’d definitely choose it over the current models that are available. Especially with the Faux Leather backing that it has on there, now I know it’s not real leather but it still looks and feels really nice. How many of you would love to have one of these Black Edition devices? Be sure to let us know in the comments down below. We love to hear from our readers.
