Samsung Might Be Preparing To Announce A New Exynos Chip At MWC

Samsung is teasing us with some new information regarding their potential 64-bit processor. In a tweet posted this morning Samsung tips us off to something new they have to talk about. The tweet tells us to “stay tuned” and that Samsung is working to continue their market leading innovation and leadership, all before showing off an image that points to Mobile World Congress as the place and time they  will unveil this new information. The image plays on the art of Bull fighting, and lists Barcelona along with the words “Exynos Infinity” in the image. This teaser is more than likely going to stir up a slew of speculations about whether or not the Galaxy S 5 will be sporting one of these new Exynos Infinity processors, which wouldn’t be completely unbelievable since Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S 5 at the event as well.

So far there aren’t any details about the Exynos Infinity or what kind of processor it is, but we’ll be finding all of that out at MWC next week it looks like so we won’t have to wait long before we probably have the full breakdown. The Galaxy S5 has been rumored to be sporting a 64-bit processor, so the Exynos Infinity could be the chip used in the phone if it’s 64-bit. Back at CES, Samsung had said that they were going to announce a new Exynos processor at MWC, and this teaser points to those statements being true. The Exynos Infinity, if actually announced at the event, won’t likely be the main talking points that steal the show at Samsung’s Unpacked 5 before the official MWC event starts, but it’s likely that it will be worked in somehow.
