Is the Samsung SM-G900P the Sprint Galaxy S5?

Much like the Galaxy Note 3’s model numbers, it looks like the Galaxy S5 is going to have the same model numbers, but with a letter at the end for each carrier, etc. Today, the SM-G900P popped up on Sprint’s website, but only as a User Agent Profile. Which means the handset exists, and is very likely to hit the third largest carrier, Sprint.

According to the User Agent, the features listed include a 1920×1080 resolution display, LTE connectivity, 13MP camera on the back, and a 2MP front-facing shooter. Which is a bit different from what we heard about earlier today in another leak. It’s also important to point out that UA profile’s aren’t always accurate. So we should take this with a grain of salt. And not as any type of confirmation.

As a reminder, the specs we saw this morning showed a 2560×1440 resolution QHD display, 3GB of RAM, 20MP and 2MP cameras, quad-core 2.5GHz processor, etc. So some of the specs aren’t showing up in the UA profile on Sprint’s website, but the ones that are, are a bit different from what we’ve seen. We’ve heard many rumors of it being a 1920×1080 and a 2560×1440 resolution display, but which one is right? We won’t know for sure until February 24th, when Samsung takes the wraps off of the Galaxy S5. And until then, we’ll continue to see leaks, rumors and speculation. The Galaxy S5 is one of the most anticipated phones of the year, so obviously it’s going to get a lot of leaks and rumors as it has. So don’t expect the rumor mill to slow down anytime soon.
