This morning HTC announced the HTC One M8, or the new One. It’s available in Verizon stores right now, but the others won’t be available until April 10th. So that’s quite the exclusive for Verizon. However, over at Amazon, you’ll see that they have the Gunmetal Gray HTC One available for Sprint, AT&T and Verizon and Glacial Silver for Verizon as well. The Gunmetal Gray for Verizon is available for Amazon Prime shipping so you could theoretically get it tomorrow, while the others are all out of stock or pre-orders and available on April 11th. Either way, it’s yet another retailer where you can grab your HTC One M8 from. Amazon is offering all of these variants for $199. It’s also the 32GB and not the 16GB version. This is the same price as what Verizon is selling the 32GB version right now in-store and online.
The HTC One M8 has a 5-inch 1080p Super LCD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage with a microSD card slot that can handle a 128GB microSD card, running on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat and Sense 6. It’s also powered by a 2600mAh battery which has some pretty crazy power saving modes. It can last up to two weeks on standby.
