HTC One M8 Information
The HTC One M8 was unveiled on March 25th 2014 and launched the same day on Verizon Wireless in all sales channels, then was later launched on other major U.S. and Canadian carriers in mid April. The follow up to HTC's infamous metal HTC One M7 from 2013, the HTC One M8 has the same metal body although a bit taller and more narrow than its predecessor. HTC used the same 4MP Ultrapixel camera on the rear as the HTC One M7, but this time added the second camera on the back fro a special depth of field effect called the Duo Camera. The front facing camera is a 5MP wide angle lens, and features all of the great HTC features we saw in the M7 like Zoe, Boom Sound, and Blink Feed, as well as a couple new ones like Motion Launch(gesture controls)and Extreme Power Saving Mode.
When it comes to the specs, the HTC One M8 is one of 2014's best flagships. It sports a 5-inch superLCD3 capacitive touch screen, with 1080 x 1920 resolution and 441 ppi and protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood its running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz, with an Adreno 330 GPU for the graphics, 2GB of RAM, and either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage with expandable storage up to a 128GB microSD card. It supports 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE networks, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, NFC, and WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. Just like the HTC One M7, the One M8 houses a non removal battery, but with an increased capacity of 2600mAh. It also houses the same front facing dual stereo speakers with Boom Sound, and comes out of box running Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

HTC One M8 Editor Rating:
The HTC One M8 is a great device with powerful specs and a sleek, elegant design to match. It feels great in the hand and is comfortable to hold for longer periods of time. It plays games with ease and the sound output is some of the best I have experienced. The display is bright and vibrant and color reproduction was very pleasing. Battery life was pretty good, even on heavier use days the Extreme Power Saving Mode kept the device running till I was able to plug it in for a charge. Pictures With the HTC One M8 were awesome, and the Duo Camera performs as advertised and added some nice unique style to some of the shots. When it comes down to it, the HTC One M8 is a solid device.
