Android Phone Comparison: HTC One M8 vs Galaxy S5 vs Xperia Z2 vs LG G2

The HTC One M8 has finally been made official. So it’s time to compare it to the other flagships out there. In the chart at the bottom of this post you’ll see that we compared the specs of the HTC One M8 to the Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z2, and the LG G2. For the most part they all have the same specs. All of the displays are between 5 and 5.2 inches. They all have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, except for the G2 which has the Snapdragon 800 – there’s not much of a difference between those two chipsets. Even the capacity is relatively the same, except for the LG G2 is the only one without a microSD card slot. Now on the side of the camera, that’s where things really begin to be different. None of these devices have the same sensor in their camera. And without having used three out of four of these devices, it’s hard to compare them. But I do know that the G2 has an amazing camera, and so did the Xperia Z1/Z1s which is the predecessor to the Xperia Z2. We’ll have to wait until we get review units to check out the cameras though.

Check out the chart down below for yourself and see which one of these devices you’d pick. As for myself, it’d be a hard choice. There are so many great flagships out there right now, but I think I’ll hold on to my LG G2 for a bit longer. But all four of these are great devices, with amazing speakers and are all running the latest version of Android which is also amazing, yet surprising.
