Back at CES, Samsung introduced us to their high-end 12.2-inch tablet, the Galaxy NotePRO. Which I’ve been pretty excited about. It’s a 12.2-inch 2560×1600 resolution display, along with 3GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of storage with a microSD card slot running on an Exynos Octa-core processor. While the LTE version has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 inside. Of course it has all of the Galaxy Note features, including taking Multi-Window to the next level. With the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2, Samsung allows you to have 4 apps open at the same time. From what we can tell from hands-on videos, it appears to work pretty well. Hopefully we’ll have a review unit soon to check these out.
The Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 is going on sale for $649 for the 32GB version and $749 for the 64GB version. There’s also talk of an LTE version hitting Verizon soon, it was supposed to be launched alongside the LG G Pad 8.3 LTE which launches tomorrow, but that’s not happening – at least it doesn’t appear to be happening. However the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 will be available from a slew of retailers. This includes Samsung, Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Tiger Direct, PC Richards and Sons, Fry’s and Newegg.
Samsung has also stated that the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 is coming with over $800 worth of bundled goodies through their “Galaxy Perks” program, which really shouldn’t surprise anyone. They are always giving away plenty of goodies with new devices.
It appears that they are only showing up on Amazon’s website right now, so we’ve linked all four models down below for you to check out. How many of you are planning on picking up the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2? Let us know in the comments below.
