Moto X Price Tag Drops $50 For Both Models

Sure the Moto X is a little bit of an older device at this point, but that doesn’t make it any less of an awesome phone. If you have pined for one but weren’t too keen on the price and have missed every other conceivable opportunity to grab one during a sale, now is your chance to snatch that opportunity once again as it look like the Moto X has just dropped in price for both the 16GB and 32GB models of the phone. The good news is that the phone seems to have dropped not only on Motorola‘s own moto maker website, but also on Amazon so if you have Amazon and Prime and want this thing out fast, you can order now and not have to forfeit on this deal. The price drop is $50 from the original cost before this sale started, which puts the 16GB model at $350 and the 32GB model at $399.

Originally the cost of the phone was around $620 at launch for the 16GB version according to Amazon’s list price, so you can see that the price of the Moto X has dropped numerous times over the time it’s been out. While you may be holding out until you can get your hands on a freshly minted OnePlus One(which is what i’ll be doing), this deal is certainly hard to ignore for anyone that wants a good second device or a replacement. The Moto maker is still fully functional so you can customize your Moto X with this new lower price just the same as you always could have, although if you buy from Amazon and go for the White version of the 16GB model, that seems to be on sale for another $10 off of the new low $350 price tag. The white version is listed for a price of $340.35 with free shipping, which is the lowest we’ve seen it so far with no contract.

Of course the phone will cost a little more if you decide to speed up the shipping time, but that’s to be expected. We’re not sure if this means that the price will stay at this amount for good, or if it will just be a temporary thing. Perhaps this could be a foreshadowing that we’re getting ever closer to whatever Motorola’s Moto X successor will be. That’s just a thought though. Is anyone going to snatch up the Moto X in this deal?
