Hisense Launches Their Newest Android Powered Device, The H6 Smart TV

In need of a new TV and looking to get one that’s smarter than the average bear? On top of that are you wanting a smart TV that can actually give you the features that you’re looking for but keep you from breaking the bank? Hisense may have a solution for you if that’s the case. They just recently announced their newest smart TV called the Hisense H6 smart TV. This big screen comes with a 55-inch screen and is powered by Android 4.2.2, and it comes in with 1080p resolution and a refresh of 120Hz. It has built in WiFi of course so you can connect your TV to the home network, since a smart TV wouldn’t be very smart without any way to link up to the web. It also comes with 3 HDMI ports so you can hook up multiple devices, like your game console, Chromecast, and whatever else you may need to hook up.

If you want a more reliable connection than WiFi the Hisense H6 also comes with an ethernet port so you can jack the TV in with a wired connection, and it has HDMI out in case you have any need for it. What was a little surprising is that actually has Google Play support, so you should be able to download just about any apps, although we’re wondering how it would work with games and such. It’s completely media ready and set up for use with YouTube, Netflix, VUDU HD movies, Amazon Instant Video, and of course Chrome, and just to make things easier Google Voice Search is embedded as well so you wouldn’t have to type anything up. The nice thing about the remote is that it has an air mouse built in, which should make navigation a snap, and the controller is listed as having only 30 keys total so it shouldn’t feel overwhelming to use.

The Hisense H6 is on sale at multiple retailers including Costco, and Walmart, and the TV only costs $700. For all that you get, that isn’t really a bad price and should be a great unit that isn’t looking to spend $1,000 or more for a TV with similar features. There are most certainly better TVs out there, but you might be hard pressed to find one with equal pricing.
