Fresh from T-Mobile is news that will brighten any customer’s day. Today, just as the LG G3, the blockbuster phone that everyone has been dying to see finally, was announced and showcased, the Big Magenta and America’s Un-carrier T-Mobile announced that they will be carrying the device in their summer lineup. The LG G3, for those that didn’t get a chance to watch the live-streamed event from London, is a beauty and a beast.
The phone has, unsurprisingly, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor running at 2.5 Ghz, with 2 or 3GB of RAM to back it up. It’s got a polished metallic back panel, and a gorgeous 5.5″ QHD (quad HD) LCD screen with the resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels that covers almost the entire front face. The camera on the back is 13 mp and optical image stabilized (OIS). The upgraded OIS, dubbed OIS+, is even better at helping your shaky or unsteady hand(s) take the best picture possible. The phone’s metallic back arcs slightly, sloping toward th front of the device at the left and right edges, giving it an, as described by LG during the event, ‘optimal comfort grip’ so the device is both easy and pleasant to hold.
T-Mobile announced in a post on their newsroom site that they would offer the device to their customers later this summer, and also host a contest and giveaway for part of the summer as well. T-Mobile writes in their posting:

Eligible customers can enter simply by pre-registering for the LG G3 at t-mobile.com. Only at T-Mobile, winners can get these devices weeks before they go on sale as part of the G3 beta program, and they’ll have the unique opportunity to share their experience and feedback on T-Mobile social channels.
Pricing has yet to be announced, but the G3 will be available from T-Mobile with 4G LTE capabilities as well as 32GB of internal storage. T-Mobile is, as of now, the only carrier, to be running a special pre-retail launch due to a special partnering of LG and T-Mobile.
