TYLT has a really cool alternative to Samsung’s wireless charging cover. This is called their Vu-Mate, which is named to go with their wireless charger which is called the TYLT Vu. The TYLT Vu is still one of my favorite wireless chargers out there, and it sits on my desk everyday charging various devices that have wireless charging. The Vu-Mate, is essentially just a card that goes on top of your battery, that’s just about it. You place the card on your battery, put the back cover back on and voila you have wireless charging. And I did confirm that it does work with other wireless chargers as well. It’s very easy to install and is probably one of my favorite “accessories” for the Samsung Galaxy S5.
The Vu-Mate wireless charging card is available for the Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy S5. The charging cards for the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 are $19.99 right now and the Galaxy S5 is at $24.99. Which is considerably lower than what Samsung charges for their wireless charging cover from their store or any other retailer. Which makes it a must buy for me, especially if you already have a wireless charger, like I do.
