Motorola is really packing on the deals when it comes to their Moto X lately. We’ve seen plenty of awesome offerings from them since the sale to Lenovo was official and just recently they were having a deal for $100 off a Moto X 32GB, no-contract for two days only. June 4th and 5th, which was just the last two days. The latest deal from Motorola is more of temporary deal than a permanent one but we think it’s still worth checking out. Starting June 9th for one day only, so that’s next Monday mark your calendars, Motorola is going to give consumers a chance to test out a brand new Moto Maker built Moto X for just one measly cent.
What do we mean by test? Well, they’re going to let you try out the Moto X for a short two week period and it’ll only cost you a penny to do so. We imagine that if you don’t send back the device they charge you the full amount of what the phone would normally cost so you won’t just be able to buy it for a penny. Some might see this as a pointless move but Motorola seems to think that it’s a smart way to get people interested in the device if they haven’t been already, and they just might be right. Perhaps people have been getting hung up on buying one for fear that they wouldn’t like it. Sure customers could just try it out and return it within the given time window that would be allowed, but this saves them the hassle from having to fork out the regular cost amount to see if they like the Moto X.
If anything you’ll get a fun new phone to play with even if you have no intention of keeping it. Motorola will only be doing this deal while supplies last so if you want to basically rent a Moto X for 14 days you better be up bright and early to beat the crowds. If you’re looking forward to trying one out you can set up to customize a Moto X inside the Moto Maker in just a few days.
