US Cellular Getting the ZTE Grand S Pro

In 2014, ZTE has definitely made a bigger push into the US than they had in previous years. We’ve seen the Iconic Phablet make it’s way to Boost Mobile as the Boost Max, then we saw the Concord II 4G hit T-Mobile and MetroPCS last month. Now we’re looking at the Grand S Pro landing on US Cellular. Now the Grand S Pro isn’t a spectacular device, but it is interesting because it’s from ZTE. Which is a company we haven’t dealt with much over here in the US. As they are actually pretty small over here, but over in China they are huge.

The specs of the ZTE Grand S Pro are a 5-inch 1280×720 resolution display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, along with a microSD card slot, 230omAh battery inside, along with a 13MP camera on the back and a 2MP front-facing shooter. As expected, it does have 4G LTE on board, since this is coming to US Cellular. It’s not a bad device for $250 outright, however, US Cellular is asking $100 for it on a new contract. Which makes it a bit of a tougher sell in my opinion. But for those that just want a good smartphone that does what it’s supposed to do, and not lag, the ZTE Grand S Pro is the one for you.

The ZTE Grand S Pro is now available from US Cellular starting today. As we stated already, it’s $100 on a new contract, or $250 outright. If you are in a US Cellular coverage area and use US Cellular, this is a pretty decent mid-range offering from them and ZTE. How many of you are planning on picking up the ZTE Grand S Pro? How many of you are excited to see more ZTE devices heading to the States? Let us know in the comments below.
