LG G Pad 10.1 available on Best Buy at $249.99

LG is doing really good in the Android market with their LG G2, LG G3 and LG G Pro 2. Adding to this list, they launched the LG G Pad 8.3 a few months back and it also received a good response from the Android users. Earlier this month, it further announced another successor to the same series of tablets named the LG G Pad 10.1, also mentioning that it will be available in US stores during the month of July. Well, the wait is finally over and now you have one more option among the tablets that are priced under $300. This tablet has been spotted only on Best Buy till now and it is available at the price of $250 ($249.99 to be exact). Let us dig into the technical specifications of this tablet.

The model name of this tablet gives you a pretty clear idea about the screen size of this device which is 10.1 Inches with 1280 x 800 pixels, resulting in the pixel density of 149 PPI (anything below 200 PPI is not considered as a great display quality). The performance of this tablet is supported by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU(which is a quad core processor operating at the frequency of 1.2 GHz and based on Cortex A7 architecture)and 1 GB RAM. It has a VGA front-facing camera and a primary camera of 5MP supporting Autofocus, Geotagging, face detection and panorama. The internal memory capacity of the device is 16GB and it also supports a memory card up to 64 GB. It will run on Android 4.4.3 Kitkat and will have an 8000 mAh battery. All these specifications of LG GPad 10.1 are really similar to that of rumored HP Slate 10 Plus and Huawei MediaPad 10 Link+.

With low quality display, low memory allocation on RAM and Snapdragon 400, it can be considered less powerful as compared to the LG GPad 8.3 and thus it is not made for the gamers. Hence, if you are looking out for a big screen tablet with no expectations of blazing performance then this can be a decent choice at $249.99, but then paying up $50 more could get you a Shield Tablet (which has got almost everything better in it). Which one would you choose? Let us know you opinion.
